Medium to large mixing bowl, depending the amount of batter you’re making
Measuring cups
Liquid measuring cup (1-2 cup capacity)
Fork (to loosen the waffle from the iron)
INGREDIENTS
For 3 waffles
1 large egg
4 tablespoons (1/4 cup) melted butter (cooled) or vegetable oil
7/8 cups (7 ounces) milk
One (1) package* Paines Hollow Kitchen Waffle Mix
For 6 waffles
2 large eggs
8 tablespoons (1/2 cup) melted butter (cooled) or vegetable oil
1 3/4 cups (14 ounces) milk
Two (2) packages* Paines Hollow Kitchen Waffle Mix
*one (1) package = 160 grams (net weight), two (2) packages = 320 grams (net weight)
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your waffle iron.*
In your mixing bowl, whisk the egg(s) until light and fluffy. Then, add the butter or oil, milk, and waffle mix. Whisk just until smooth. Let the batter rest for a few minutes.
Once your waffle iron is hot, pour about 2/3 cup of batter for an 8-inch waffle. If your waffle iron is a different size, adjust the amount of batter accordingly. Cook waffle until golden.
Remove waffle from iron and serve warm with maple syrup.
